ROTARY INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION 2025
CALGARY, ALBERTA, JUNE 21 - 25, 2025

More than 15,000 Rotary members and participants from over 120 countries gathered in Calgary, Alberta from June 21 to 25, 2025, for the membership service organization’s annual international convention.
Often described by attendees as a “mini United Nations”, the convention will transform the BMO Centre and Scotiabank Saddledome at Stampede Park into an energized hub and cultural mosaic as the global network of volunteers gain inspiration from more than 100 humanitarian projects on exhibit and from world class speakers.

Rotary International Conventions are known for establishing new friends and appreciating inspiring experiences from around the world.

For many years, Chip Bowness and Brian O'Ruairc travelled to Cambodia to oversee the upgrades and provide site supervision of the work. These upgrades were funded by Rotary District 5050 Grants, the Rotary Club of South Surrey, and the Tiarnan Humanitarian Association (THA.) New Rotary member, Doug Baker joined Brian to the Happy Home Project work this March 2024.

Children's Shrimp Feast

Brian and Deirdre's grandson, Liam Towson, age 10, personally raises funds each year to pay for a special 'shrimp lunch' for the children.
